For the 10th year in a row, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) has awarded Cummins Inc. a perfect score in the 2015 Corporate Equality Index as part of its Best Places to Work initiative. The ratings were announced by HRC, the largest U.S. civil rights organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees, which has more than 1 million members and supporters across the United States.
This is a big recognition for Cummins, a company that prides itself on diversity. The company received a score of 100 (out of 100) in the index ratings.
Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2015 Corporate Equality Index is the national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.
In the 2015 CEI report, 366 major businesses — spanning nearly every industry and geography — earned a top score of 100 percent and the distinction of “Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality.”
