More than 500 people visited the Cummins Power Generation booth at the Electric, Power & Renewable Energy Indonesia 2013 exhibition in September. The show is the biggest in Indonesia for mining, construction and utilities – Cummins Power Generation’s target industries in the region – and attracts senior decision makers from private industry, state utilities and government agencies. Overall attendance at the event this year was three times the number who attended the last time the biennial event was staged.
Harry Tirto, Power Gen Leader for PT Altrak 1978, reports clear benefits from having an expanded presence at the show this time around. “The participation in Electric, Power & Renewable Energy Indonesia 2013 has helped to raise awareness for both PT Altrak 1978 and Cummins Power Generation products among our target audience,” he said. “It also served as an opportunity for us to share and educate the public on the differences between Cummins and GOEMs and for them to make more informed choices.”
Cummins Power Generation distributor PT Altrak 1978 had constructed a two-storey booth, with X-range and QSX15 generator sets on display. The exhibition was an opportunity to demonstrate the differences between Cummins Power Generation products and GOEM generator sets, as well as highlight the aftermarket support on offer from PT Altrak. The event was well represented by the Cummins Asia Pacific team.
