What’s the Cummins Hero spotlight? It’s a monthly series where we’ll share the story of a Cummins Hero nominated through our HERO program.
This month, we’re honored to name Heidi Ayers (pictured to the right) as our latest Hero. From Burien, Washington, Heidi is always offering a helping hand to her local community. From providing rides and showing visitors around, to handling yard work around her church, to picking up food for those in need – Heidi always finds time to give back and support those around her without a moment’s hesitation. Always game for a quick card match, Heidi loves to spend time with those around her and show her support to local events.
Heidi is the kind of selfless community hero that any neighborhood would be lucky to have. Thanks to Heidi’s friend for nominating her and bringing attention to her work within the local community.
Real heroes are all around us, making the world a better place each day. They come in all shapes and sizes and from every walk of life. And the thing is, most heroes don’t even think of themselves that way.
At Cummins, we’d like to change all that, but we need your help to do it. Do you know a hero? Someone who goes above and beyond to make your community a better place or gives their time or talent to improve the lives of others in your community?
If you know someone like Heidi, who goes above and beyond to improve the community or the lives of others, take a few minutes to tell us all about them. Learn more and fill out a nomination form by visiting our site.
