Customers now have the option of sourcing urea tanks and lines through Cummins Emission Solutions to complete their full-system aftertreatment solution with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology. In addition to the convenience of this offering, customers can expect improved system integration capabilities while saving the time and resources required in sourcing their own.
“We consider these components to be a critical part of the SCR system, and we are excited to offer components that complement the demonstrated performance and reliability of our aftertreatment systems,” said Marina Savelli, General Manager of the Global Off-Highway Business for Cummins Emission Solutions.
These systems will be available beginning early 2014 with four tank initial capacities of five, 10, 15 and 30 US gallon or 19, 38, 57 and 114 liters, including a variety of electrically heated urea, or diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) lines, ranging from half meter to three meter lengths, providing added installation flexibility. As critical SCR system components, these can be applied across a wide range of on- and off-highway applications from light-duty systems to heavy-duty systems.
